Hey there, the VFF Film Fest is happening soon (like in the next few weeks). I’m usually involved in photography and volunteering in some capacity, but this year I think I’m too busy, with uhh, business. Sad, volunteering for VFF in past years has been a blast.

I thought I’d have no part in the Festival and that it would slip past unnoticed. Poor me, in my office slaving and barely looking up from sketchbook, daytimer and computer, making beautiful things for beautiful companies. But then Driftwood Brewery said they’d be the requiring a co-branded beer for the event. ‘Reel Beer’ was born, announced with a poster and a custom tap handle for selected bars. Requirements were that it match the Victoria Film Festival’s current, annual style of branding. Basically a style of typography and the simple colour palette of 100% magenta and black.

The posters have been printed, watch for them in and around Victoria, BC.
