The Collectors of Canadian Brewery Advertising from Toronto sent a letter informing Driftwood that Farmhand Ale’s label has been selected as one of the ten nominees for their 2008 ‘Label of the Year’ award. This award recognizes achievement in beer label design.
The letter states that voting is currently taking place among over 200 collectors of Canadian brewery memorabilia who make up the Collectors of Canadian Brewery Advertising. This year marks the 27th year that the ‘Label of the Year’ has been awarded.
Some of the other breweries up for the award are Alley Kat Brewing, Amber’s Brewing Company, Barley Days Brewery, Mission Springs Brewing Company, Northhampton Brewing Company and the Robert Simpson Brewing Company.
The winning label will be announced August 5th, 2009.
