For the last two weeks I worked at Holy Cow Communication Design in the Cannery Building in downtown Sidney. One of their designers went on vacation and of course, murphy’s law set in, they got extremely busy. When Randy at Printsmith group heard this he thought I’d be a good fit and forwarded my website to Holy Cow. The rest is history. I worked on a variety of projects from an annual report, an attraction website, booklets, to an assortment of advertisements for really great clients. I had an excellent time working with the team, it gave me a renewed interest and excitement for my own business. It was great to collaborate and learn with people who have been in the industry longer than myself.
AND! Sidney is an hour by bus from where I live in downtown Victoria, and I just couldn’t NOT do anything with this time. Week one = toque one, Week two = toque two. I want to show you what I worked on while on the bus. Toque one is worn by Nathan (and has been subsequently claimed by him- it’s summer and he won’t take it off) and Toque two is worn by myself.
Next week: I’m moving to a new office! very very very excited.
